Deployment Strategist

Work with government and defence organisations to understand their priorities, build trusted relationships and bring Nordan's software into operational use.

The role

We are looking for someone who knows how government and defence organisations work. You bring an established network across public authorities and the military, alongside first-hand experience in environments involving secure applications, classified information and critical systems.

You will connect the people building our software with the people who need it. From the first conversation to a working deployment, you will help define the problem, bring the right stakeholders together and make sure the work addresses a real operational need. An engineering background is not required; relationships, sound judgement and an understanding of the customer are central.

What you will do

  • Build and deepen relationships with government decision-makers, military stakeholders and industry partners.
  • Spend time with customers to understand their workflows, operational priorities and the constraints of secure environments.
  • Identify useful applications of Nordan's software and shape them into clearly scoped pilots with agreed outcomes.
  • Help customers navigate procurement and internal approvals, coordinating with our product and engineering teams from scoping through deployment.
  • Support briefings, demonstrations and user adoption, bringing lessons from the field back into the product.

What you bring

  • An established network across government and defence, with trusted relationships in public authorities or the military.
  • Experience working in or alongside organisations that handle classified information, secure applications and systems critical to operations.
  • An understanding of how government and defence organisations evaluate, procure and adopt new capabilities.
  • A record of bringing stakeholders together and moving complex projects from an initial need to a practical outcome.
  • Discretion, clear communication and sound judgement, with the curiosity to understand a customer's work and explain it to a software team.

Additional experience

Experience with Swedish or Nordic public authorities, defence organisations, civil preparedness or protective security. A background in government, military service, programme leadership or delivery to public sector customers.
